My secret weapen - the Budda Phatbass. The Phatbass is a brand new distortion pedal made specifically for the Bass Guitarist. I saw the prototype at the Jan 99 Namm Show, and after playing it I knew that I had to add the Phatbass to my arsenal...

Four months later I got a call from Scot Sier of Budda stating that they had just completed the first 25 pedals and they had one reserved for me. It was worth the wait - This Thing ROCKS!!!

Initially, I was going to use the Phatbass sparingly - WRONG! It's so awsome that I find my foot tapping on it in all areas of songs. Full choruses, under solo sections, bass solos, harmonics, chordal work - the Budda Phatbass is the Best Bass Distortion pedal ever made. Bar none. And I am very picky about my equipment.

Oh, and if you happen to play fretless, you're in for a real treat using this pedal...

I just can't thank Budda seeing a serious void in the bass pedal market, and filling it with this Bad-Ass Phat-Ass sound!
